What is primary need, technical challenge, and/or problem you will be responsible for?
As a QA Engineer, you will be a key member of the team that delivers the advanced orchestration and automation of complex end user computing platform (virtual desktops, streaming applications and digital workspace) from start to end across different cloud environments. The QA oversees the quality of code releases and SDLC focusing on the testability, robustness, and performance of production software. You will work with a wide range of functional organizations, including Product Management, Sales, Operations, Customer Support, and Finance.
The QA is critical role in delivering Dizzion’s mission critical Cosmos Control Center (C3). This SaaS application automatically builds, customizes, and operates an advanced digital workspace. You will have knowledge of professional Cloud Infrastructure management (AWS) including automated software deployment. You will implement best practices for the full QA life cycle. The initial focus for this role will be to support our development teams, which create C3 and is a crucial part of the business. This role requires a self-starter with demonstrated experience in high growth, fast-paced organizations, who understands the flow of code and how it interacts with different components. You will have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of technologies from front-end UI to back-end distributed web services. You will understand project documents, customer demands, and product objectives to create and execute test cases. You will own the design and implementation of tests that will help in end-to-end quality of major deliverables working closely with multiple engineers and teams to execute them. Setting up, maintaining, and performing test automation frameworks on multiple application platforms, such as Web, Desktop, and Mobile, and building test scenarios and acceptance tests. The successful candidate will have the ability to work through ambiguity, align consensus, and be seen as a hands-on subject matter expert while prioritizing scaling, customer experience, and reusability.
In addition you will be responsible for owning, building and maintaining the Design test plans, scenarios, and scripts and automation features and functions with minimal supervision. The QA engineer is also responsible for investigating customer problems referred to you by the technical support team, testing bugs, and creating and managing bug reports. This includes researching test tools, methodologies, and trends and upgrading existing practices and processes to ensure the best products are delivered to our customers.
Participate on virtual teams, assigning work, managing backlogs, tracking deliverables, and removing roadblocks.The focus of the team is to collaborate with multiple departments (internal customers) to advance the resiliency, security, features, functionality, and simplicity of our platform to deliver on our Mission of “Redefining the way the world works.” We look for self-starters, passionate people who have a strong bias to action.

The hiring manager for this role is Robert Green, President, CTO, and co-founder at Dizzion. Rob is the visionary for defining Dizzion’s products. He oversees all aspects of technology including strategy, infrastructure, systems, tools and development. Green previously held the position of Director, Product Development and System Architecture at ViaWest. While at ViaWest he redefined the managed services offering and created several innovative products. Green also served as the Director of Technical Infrastructure for Rackspace Managed Hosting where he established the internal infrastructure systems and external technical services that fueled exploding triple digit growth throughout the mid 2000’s.
