Revenue Operations Manager

What is primary need, technical challenge, and/or problem you will be responsible for?

The Revenue Operations Manager manages the revenue operations function which spans the Sales and Marketing teams at Dizzion. The responsibilities of this role include: monitor and manage the sales pipeline in, sales enablement, sales efficiency and effectiveness reporting, sales process improvement, managing executive and rep-level dashboards, assisting Sales and Alliance team with everyday Salesforce needs (ownership transfers, merging, tactical execution, etc.).  

This role will also partner with Marketing to create, augment, curate an efficient, effective repository of tools and collateral for sales enablement and provide reports on utilization and tool effectiveness. Furthermore, ensure training and proper handoff and pursuit of leads referred to the Sales and Alliance teams via both direct and partner enablement and lead generation activities. This role will make a significant contribution to the Sales and Marketing team by reducing sales cycle, increasing win rates, improving forecasting confidence, optimizing lead conversion rates, to ensure full data set on lead life cycle, conversion rates and other KPIs.

The ideal candidate will ensure full integrity and operational excellence in stage management, pipeline commit/forecasting, trend analysis, and population of the full, accurate data set for each sales opportunity.  They will be responsible for the proper opportunity disposition at close stage, both won and lost, ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and proper execution of dependencies, workflows, and communication tracks associated with closure; including creating and performing a deal desk function to facilitate pending and closing deals to properly transition them to revenue recognition and future upsell and renewal.

This role will work closely with the Accounting and Finance department and Sales Engineering team to ensure deals are priced and packaged properly while creating and augmenting sales dashboards for both executive leadership and individual sales team members to increase transparency of past, present, and future sales KPI.  The Revenue Operations Manager will also partner with the CRO to execute weekly sales meetings for in-depth deal analysis, updates, and projections; managing open-deal reports, engaging individual sales owners to ensure data is up-to-date and accurate for delivery to sales and executive leadership.  

Additional responsibilities of this role include standardizing and executing new Revenue Team employee onboarding, planning, and coordinating Dizzion QBRs and Sales Kickoff events, and acting as secondary administrator as needed.


What Other Skills Give Me an Advantage?

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
  • 3-5+ years sales/revenue operations management experience, ideally in a fast-paced, high-growth B2B tech company
  • Certified administrator, advanced certification preferred
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel
  • Excellent presentation and data interpretation skills, comfort with executive-level engagement
  • Proven success designing and implementing sales operations programs that reduce sales cycle and increase overall win rates
  • In-depth understanding of lead life cycle, quote-to-cash, forecasting and other critical sales and marketing processes
  • Ability to balance highly tactical activity with strategic planning and management-level recommendations
  • Work well with other departments, specifically marketing, finance, product, and alliance to derive business-level insights and value
  • Strong understanding of tools used in the Sales/Marketing functions such as Salesforce, Marketo, Linkedin Navigator, Zoominfo, Salesloft, etc.

The hiring manager for this role is Tim Wall, Chief Revenue Officer. Tim leads the Sales and Marketing Division with functional responsibility that includes significantly growing Dizzion’s business units, managing results-oriented teams, exceeding revenue targets, and managing a P&L.  He brings over 25 years of strategic sales, revenue growth, and leadership experience in global technology driven organizations.

  • Salary range $85,000 to $95,000 annually (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, and alignment of market data.) 
  • Quarterly bonus program
