What is primary need, technical challenge, and/or problem you will be responsible for?
The Senior Accountant will partner with the Accounting Team to develop and implement strong internal controls to ensure consistency as well as standardized business processes. You will own the revenue recognition cycle, including evaluation of customer contracts and appropriate revenue recognition, billing, revenue analysis and collections.
Additionally, you will create financial analysis and reporting for the management team, conduct research and analysis, accurately maintain the general ledger, perform account reconciliations, assist with revenue and cash projections, calculate and analyze sales commissions, assist with audit preparations and filing of Sales/Use tax monthly in multiple jurisdictions and carrying out other accounting duties as may be required. You will have compassion and empathy to help our customers with their billing questions and experience to get invoices paid in a timely manner while keeping our customer service quality bar high.
This role will work cross-functionally across the operations teams. Communication, group dynamics, decision making, attention to detail are your passions. You have an insatiable appetite for learning new things and continuously improving organizations. Darcie earned an MBA with an emphasis in Accounting and brings over 15 years of global accounting and finance experience in information technology and various other environments.
