Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant role is pivotal to our operations at Dizzion and impacts every area of the Company. In this role, you will be the wearer of many hats and will have exposure to a wide range of business matters.

Senior Accountant Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of the accounting function, including general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, billing, collections, accounts receivable and accounts payable  
  • Work with operations team to understand the status of customer projects, evaluate revenue recognition and prepare accurate billing
  • Prepare month end financial reporting and analysis for the management team
  • Gain understanding of budget drivers and impact on the business
  • Assist CFO with revenue and cash projections
  • Calculate and analyze sales commissions
  • Process bi-monthly payroll 
  • Point of contact for customers and vendors
  • Develop and implement strong internal controls
  • Prepare audit schedules and facilitate audit
  • File Sales/Use tax monthly in multiple jurisdictions
  • Build relationships at all level of the organization to promote strong communication

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance and understanding of GAAP accounting required
  • Mandatory minimum of 3+ years of accounting experience
  • Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and curiosity to understand the big picture
  • Strong attention to deadlines and keeping schedules on track
  • Able to function effectively and independently in a dynamic environment
  • Promote an environment that encourages open communication and coordination
  • Flexibility and willingness to pitch in with some office duties, such as ordering supplies
