What is primary need, technical challenge, and/or problem you will be responsible for?

The Strategic Account Manager (“SAM”) is critical to Dizzion’s short and long-term success. The SAM will be responsible for developing, executing, managing, and owning long-term account strategies and partnerships for assigned enterprise and strategic revenue producing customers. You will develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, client stakeholders, and executive sponsors and manage a portfolio of named clients; responsible to manage complex sales cycles to achieve client growth goals, developing new revenue opportunities, and successfully renewing client contracts by negotiating contracts and closing agreements to maximize revenue.

A successful SAM will collaborate with our sales and customer success teams to co-manage relationships while also serving as an advocate for additional experiences to drive customer value and expansion, analyze engagement data and achieve quotas, while keeping our clients satisfied and engaged with our products and services. 

The SAM will meet and exceed assigned annual expansion and retention objectives, provide detailed, accurate, and timely sales forecasting, and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly results and annual forecasts), as well as, clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders by preparing and delivering account status reports in conjunction with CSMs.

What Other Skills Give Me an Advantage?

  • Proven work experience as an Account Manager or relevant role
  • 5+ years of experience selling enterprise software solutions that require consensus-building within a buyer's organization
  • Proven history of exceptional quota attainment
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
  • A track record of successful enterprise software sales to multiple industries including Financial Services, Healthcare, Retail, and Outsourcing
  • SaaS experience, is a plus

Other Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience and embracement of Salesforce
  • Experienced user of leading software/tools to maximize efficiency and effectiveness (LinkedIn, Office365, Teams, Zoom, etc.)
  • Completed some sales methodology and/or sales process trainings in the past

The hiring manager for this role is Tim Wall, Chief Revenue Officer. Tim leads the Sales and Marketing Division with functional responsibility that includes significantly growing Dizzion’s business units, managing results oriented teams, exceeding revenue targets, and managing a P&L. He brings over 25 years of strategic sales, revenue growth, and leadership experience in global technology driven organizations.

Compensation

  • Salary range $90,000 to $100,000 annually plus commission plan (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, and alignment of market data.)
