Dizzion Achieves PCI DSS Compliance Validation for Second Consecutive Year

February 13, 2018

Denver, CO – February 13, 2018 – Dizzion, a full-service end user computing (EUC) provider, today announces that its virtual desktop solution has been validated for the second consecutive year as meeting Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) compliance. The solution was audited and validated by Coalfire, an Independent PCI Qualified Security Assessor (QSA).

PCI complianceDizzion was the first desktop as a service (DaaS) provider to achieve PCI compliance certification when it initially announced the achievement in early November 2016. Maintaining PCI DSS compliance requires annual audits and 45 percent of organizations fail to maintain compliance after initially achieving the milestone, according to Verizon’s 2017 Payment Security Report.

“Achieving compliance can be difficult, but maintaining it can be even harder and many organizations fail subsequent audits,” said Kennet Westby, President of Coalfire. “Dizzion’s persistence in maintaining their PCI compliance certification is a testament to their dedication and should put current and future clients at ease that they can rely on Dizzion to help them tackle this complicated and labor intensive but critical aspect of business.”

Dizzion meets Level 1 PCI DSS compliance requirements (the most stringent level), making it a viable solution for any organization collecting, processing, transmitting or storing payment card information. To achieve this level of service, Dizzion’s solution includes 12 unique technologies and controls to further harden its hyperconverged infrastructure into a compliant environment. Dizzion’s solution dramatically reduces the burden and cost of maintaining a PCI compliant end user computing environment, allowing organization to focus time and resources on their main line of business.

“Producing and maintaining a PCI compliant environment isn’t simple or everyone would be compliant right now,” said Robert Green, CTO, Dizzion. “Dizzion saw this as an opportunity to really add value for our customers. Protecting payment card data and having a compliant environment is extremely important, but it can also take time, resources and budget away from our customers’ main focus – their business. Dizzion is committed to maintain a PCI compliant solution so that our customers can focus on their business while still having peace of mind that their data and EUC environments are secure and compliant. This independent re-validation of our compliance standing is proof of that commitment.”

Dizzon’s PCI compliant virtual desktop solution is currently used by clients across a range of industries, including finance, insurance and healthcare.
