- Why Dizzion
Denver – May 3, 2017 – Dizzion, Inc., a full-service end user computing (EUC) provider specializing in virtualization solutions including cloud delivered desktops and application streaming, recently announced the addition of new EUC points of delivery (POD) to extend the company’s service capabilities. The new PODs are located in Pennsylvania and Amsterdam.
The Pennsylvania POD allows Dizzion to provide faster service delivery to customers with needs in the Eastern United States, further enhancing the user experience of Dizzion’s high-performance virtual desktops. The introduction of a POD in Amsterdam allows Dizzion to offer virtual end user computing solutions to customers with a presence in Europe while meeting the strict data residency requirements of the European Union and individual European countries.
In addition to expanding Dizzion’s service and coverage area, the two new PODs also offer Dizzion customers increased disaster recovery and business continuity solution options.
“Especially as organizations move more and more data into the cloud, data redundancy and disaster recovery is increasingly important,” said Steve Prather, President, CEO and Co-Founder, Dizzion. “We’re proud that we can expand our business in a way that makes disaster recovery and business continuity simpler to obtain for our customers.”
The Amsterdam POD marks Dizzion’s entrance into the European market. It is a critical part of Dizzion’s business plan to identify and penetrate new markets that present customer demand and an opportunity to expose Dizzion services to additional interested parties. This expands on Dizzion’s existing international presence in Central America and Asia Pacific.
“Our vision has always been to expand into new geographies and the EU was the next logical choice based on customer demand and opportunity to expand our reach to positively impact a new market,” said Robert Green, Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder, Dizzion. “We specifically chose Amsterdam as our first EU data center location because the regional technology infrastructure and data laws allow us to serve neighboring countries with relative ease.”
The Amsterdam POD was quickly followed by the addition of a POD in Pennsylvania, which is a direct response to increasing customer demand in the United States.
“The way the world works is shifting, with the increasing adoption of cloud solutions and the growing trend of remote working. Dizzion very consciously positioned ourselves to enable that shift by providing end user computing solutions tailored to these emerging needs,” Prather said. “The need for an additional EUC POD on the East Coast demonstrates that our solution is something the market needs and that our clients trust us to provide reliable, high-performing cloud delivered desktops that meet their expanding needs in various geographies.”
The Amsterdam and Pennsylvania POD locations join several existing data center locations in the United States, Central America and Asia Pacific.
