Dizzion Highlighted for Second Time in Gartner Market Guide for Desktop as a Service

August 1, 2018

Dizzion logoDenver, CO – AUGUST 1, 2018 – Dizzion, a desktop as a service (DaaS) and end user computing (EUC) provider, is included in Gartner’s 2018 Market Guide for Desktop as a Service. This inclusion marks Dizzion’s second appearance in the analysts’ guide. Dizzion is just one of 10 DaaS providers included in this most recent Market Guide, alongside virtualization giants Amazon, Citrix and VMware.

Dizzion has offered fully managed desktop as a service solutions since 2011, with a market focus on highly secure, highly regulated industries. This focus aligns with Gartner’s findings that the top industries by volume within the DaaS space include healthcare, banking and securities.

“Since day 1 at Dizzion, we’ve been focused on providing highly secure, high performing, reliable virtual desktops,” said Steve Prather, CEO, Dizzion. “We’re excited that Gartner recognizes DaaS as a growing market sector and that Dizzion has been included in their Market Guide as a representative of the market’s offerings.”

Dizzion continues to lead the industry through continual offering and product improvements, including:

  • Third-party audited PCI DSS and HIPAA HITECH compliant virtual desktops
  • The industry-leading Dizzion Control Center, featuring environment management, monitoring and business insight capabilities
  • A strategic partnership with IGEL to offer secure, compliant thin client solutions

“Dizzion works hard to offer innovative products that will disrupt the virtual desktop market and we’re glad to be included among the main DaaS providers highlighted by Gartner,” said Robert Green, CTO, Dizzion. “Desktop as a service is our sole focus, it’s not an add-on feature for us and our clients appreciate that. I think as the market matures, there will be increased demand for innovative platform providers like Dizzion who are squarely focused on EUC.”
