GCG Partners with Dizzion to Offer Virtual Desktop (VDI) Solutions

Englewood, CO — June 11, 2015 – Global Communications Group, Inc. (GCG), a leader in enterprise IT consulting for cloud, data center and telecommunications solutions recently announced a new partnership agreement with Dizzion, Inc., a full service cloud-delivered desktop service provider.

The new partnership allows Global Communications Group to offer virtual desktop, work spaces and complete application suite to its clients while increasing Dizzion’s sales distribution channel. The market for desktop virtualization is expected to grow to $5.6 billion by 2016 as many companies begin to move away from hardware based computing to virtualization and the cloud.

“Dizzion has a unique virtual desktop offering in that it was built and optimized to efficiently operate workloads,” said Mike Armstrong, Vice President of Business Development for Global Communications Group. “Performance has been a major sticking point for many of our clients concerned over the speed and availability of virtual desktop infrastructure.”

Global Communications Group has seen a substantial increase in the amount of interest by CIOs, IT Directors and Managers in cloud infrastructure and virtual desktops. “Conversations about cloud migration and operating in a virtual environment are definitely happening,” said Mike Allen, Vice President of Engineering for Global Communications Group. “Our clients are coming to us to help figure out the cloud dilemma and a migration strategy.”

Dizzion recently received $3.9 million Series A funding to expand its presence in the fast growing end user computing market, which includes Virtual Desktops and Desktop as a Service (DaaS). Part of that strategy involves building on their already solid channel partner program with companies like Global Communications Group, Inc.

“We are very excited to be working with one of the most successful and capable technology resellers in the nation,” said Steve Prather, CEO of Dizzion. “GCG’s strong understanding of cloud service’s ability to enable businesses’ ever changing requirements is a perfect partner for Dizzion.”
