Eric Zielinski

CISO

As Chief Information Security Officer, Eric is responsible for the overall strategy and execution of the cyber security program at Dizzion.  With over 20 years of Cyber Security industry insight, Eric has garnered a reputation as an industry leader with a passion for innovation and an ability to align key cyber initiatives with corporate objectives.

 In his prior role, Eric was responsible for leading the global organization at Veeva across incident detection & response, vulnerability management, endpoint detection and response, threat intelligence, and automation. Prior to Veeva, Eric was responsible for driving the cloud transformation for a Fortune 100 Financial Services company where he built the cloud security strategy, designed the Cyber Security Operation Center, and established threat intelligence, cyber defense, and security engineering programs.

Eric comes to Dizzion from Veeva Systems, where he most recently served as the Global Head of Security Operations responsible for security incident detection & response, vulnerability management, monitoring, and endpoint detection. Previously, Eric was Director of Cloud Security for Nationwide a Fortune 100 Financial Services company where he led cloud transformation, cloud security strategy, designed the Cyber Security Operation Center, and established threat intelligence, cyber defense, and security engineering programs.

He is a frequent speaker at several industry conferences such as FIRST, FS ISAC, SANS, and O’Reilly, etc. Eric holds a bachelor’s degree in information systems from Franklin University and is pursuing his master’s degree in information security management from Carnegie Mellon University.  He holds several certifications, such as CISO, GCCC, GMON, EnCE, and GCIH.
