What is primary need, technical challenge, and/or problem you will be responsible for?

As a Product Owner at Dizzion you are in the driver's seat empowering the transition from concept to reality for one or more Product categories within our ecosystem. Candidates are technically astute with broad experience and knowledge of app-delivery, Cloud, and security. You are also familiar with Agile development methodologies and have experience working both with Product Engineering and DevOps resources.

This role is the “Creator" - the virtual "bridge" between the business, technology SMEs, and clients - translating complex business and technology challenges into actionable series of well-defined user stories and tasks. You'll drive stakeholder collaboration and prioritization of those stories and ensure we're realizing success outcomes throughout the journey. You're an Agile expert; able to groom and assign Story Points to stories and tickets, and work with internal SCRUM masters in the execution of Sprints. Successful candidates will also possess strong project management skills and are well-versed at prioritization, delegation and reporting.

You will understand the context, framework, and background of our Products and Services and collaborate with Product management and Product marketing to understand our markets, use-cases, value, and seek ways to innovate and disrupt. You will gather requirements and formulate actionable user stories for development, working with our SCRUM team to groom stories and provide input for sprint prioritization, and report on overall velocity, health and performance of development efforts. You will serve as first-line escalation for DevOps and Product Engineering tickets as well as, participate in quarterly Product stakeholder and roadmap meetings.

This role will act as a Product ambassador; training internal clients and partners on key Product features and functionality and serve as the translator for complex technical concepts into consumable information for both internal and external clients. You will perform other duties as required.

  • Familiarity with application delivery concepts (DaaS, Digital Workspace, RDS, VDI, etc.); bonus points for familiarity with protocols
  • Public and private cloud familiarity (VMware, AWS, Azure and/or GCE)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • VMware cloud infrastructure hands-on Product Development or Product Ownership experience: vSphere, Cloud Director, vSAN, NSX and equivalent
  • Enterprise Cloud technology experience: 5+ years preferred
  • Prior technical Product Owner / Agile experience: 5+ years preferred
  • Private, public and hybrid Cloud as well as Cloud-native integration and interoperability Product Development or management experience
  • Documentation experience: Writing sales collateral, operations guides, diagrams and workflows
  • Familiarity and experience working with DevOps teams and SDLC frameworks
  • Familiarity with testing and QA validation processes and procedures
  • Familiarity with automation platforms, APIs and scripting
  • Communicate technical procedures and processes to non-technical users

Compensation

  • $140,000-$155,000 annually (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, and alignment of market data.)
  • Quarterly and annual bonus program
