After enough solution research, one vendor website starts looking like all the others. To help you cut through the noise, here’s a little bit about Dizzion and a few top reasons we stand out.
First thing’s first, Dizzion is a virtual desktop and end user computing services provider. Our specific market offering is referred to as “outsourced VDI” or “desktop as a service.” We’re a private U.S.-based organization that was founded in 2011.
Now that that’s out of the way, here are six reasons we think we stand out from our competitors.
Dizzion offers a range of solutions, including application streaming and secure endpoint solutions (i.e. thin clients), but all our services are firmly grounded in desktop virtualization and end user computing.
Large companies that add desktop as a service to their existing offerings are testing the waters to see if this market will be lucrative for them. Or, they white label another provider’s service. That means that if it doesn’t generate enough revenue, the service could be scaled back, stop seeing new features or be scrapped entirely – leaving you as a customer out of luck. At Dizzion, desktop virtualization and end user computing is what we do. Our cloud desktops aren’t going anywhere.
Dizzion has multiple datacenters spread across the U.S. (with an additional location in the Netherlands). This lets you build business continuity and disaster recovery solutions into your Dizzion engagement. Some of our clients use our multiple datacenters as a backup for “just in case” scenarios, but others rely on the geo-diversity as part of their BC/DR plan.
For instance, Dizzion has a healthcare management client that connects providers, consumers and patients. They require a VDI solution that allows for 100% uptime to support remote nurses providing triage services and care provider guidance. This 100% uptime requirement means that not even scheduled downtime for maintenance was acceptable. Dizzion is able to meet this requirement by running a Hot-Warm environment with desktops accessible in two separate datacenters. Users have two icons for logging into their virtual desktops and a pop up tells them which to log into based on which data center is in use. This gives the organization peace of mind that its environment is always be accessible.
Some people are hesitant to move to virtual desktops because they’re worried the performance won’t be strong enough to support today’s must-have capabilities like two-way voice, HD video streaming and softphone integration. While those notions were once true of desktop virtualization, they’re not anymore.
Dizzion’s virtual desktops are built on propriety infrastructure that’s custom designed to meet today’s performance expectations. Don’t believe us? We’re happy to show you on a live demo.
Plus, we’re constantly upgrading and improving our infrastructure to make sure it always performs the way you need it to.
Adopting cloud solutions can be scary for organizations that have tight security or compliance requirements. But it doesn’t have to be. At Dizzion, security is the foundation of everything we do and has been since day one – our CTO Robert Green even talks about it in this video.
We took things even further in 2016 by adding an independently audited PCI compliant desktop solution and independently audited HIPAA HITECH compliant desktop solution. Ever since then, we go through annual audits to ensure our solutions remain compliant. We’ll even provide a BAA for our HIPAA compliant clients.
This gives clients in the healthcare, financial services, contact center/BPO and other highly regulated industries the confidence to work with us. To make sure everything is clear and there are no surprises, we also provide a roles and responsibilities matrix so you know exactly what Dizzion takes off your plate and what you’re responsible for. This is key since not all compliant desktop services are equally robust (hint: watch out for “compliance lite” offerings).
Whether you’re just researching virtual desktops or are seriously vetting solutions, Dizzion works hard to help you find the information you need. Our Resource Library has everything from infographics on industry trends to in depth tech papers and product datasheets to helpful checklists and tools you can use to do your research and plan your project.
We pride ourselves on partnering with our clients to help them achieve a desktop virtualization program that meets their exact needs. We’re not a cold, off-the-shelf solution that treats you like every other customer. You’ll now us by name and we’ll know you.
