In the lead up to Dizzion’s seventh anniversary on November 30, 2018, we asked the three co-founders to reflect on the company’s journey, the past 12 months and what’s to come. They answered seven questions – one for each year Dizzion has been a successful DaaS and EUC solutions provider.
Today, Dizzion co-founder and CTO Robert Green shares his insights from the tech side of the house.
2018 has been all about shoring up our products and services and preparing for hyper-growth. Much like New Year’s resolutions, we had some lofty goals to accomplish in 2018. For the most part we got them done. We increased our investment in core areas and solved a ton of operational scale challenges as well as introduced the fifth generation of our cloud architecture.
I had hoped we would have been able to do more, but I am proud of what we have accomplished and our position going in to 2019. We are strong operationally, we have an amazing platform and our team has come together in ways I would never have imagined.
I am most proud of the COSMOS orchestration release back in May of 2018. COSMOS is our automation system that automates our service delivery. I cannot express how impactful this release was to us this year as well as going forward. With COSMOS, we are able to get our customers live faster than ever before. This speaks back to preparing for hyper scale and growth. COSMOS was the most important achievement in reaching that goal.
A very close second is the Dizzion Team. This year we have had many challenges that we have overcome as a team. Seeing the team perform and rise to solving some really complex problems for our customers is a huge motivator and confidence boost.
I am proud of our team. We have created something very special together. As we look forward to 2019, I am optimistic and excited about what is to come and how we can make our company even better.
Honestly, I did. I am a dreamer and I knew if we surrounded ourselves with smart people, aligned them to a single goal, and let them do their thing, we would be successful. I am so thankful I was given the opportunity to be a part of this journey.
It is a big goal and we are taking a pragmatic approach to delivering on our mission. Every year we positively impact more and more customers by introducing products and services that make our customers’ lives easier.
We are doing a ton of work around our core products and making managing end users that much easier. We have a lot in store for 2019 that will change the landscape even more.
We will do what we have been doing the last seven years: Releasing innovative products and services that solve real business problems. Expect more disruptive technology and much easier management of EUC in general.
We’ll be hearing from Rob’s co-founders Manny Ladis and Steve Prather in the weeks leading up to Dizzion’s 7th anniversary, so be sure to check back!
