Dizzion is committed to providing its customers with the best end user computing (EUC) solutions, allowing them to streamline IT bottlenecks, accommodate expanding workforces and enhance security through the use of cloud based technologies like virtual desktops and application delivery. We recognize that with globalization the world and workforces are changing, and we’ve made it our mission to redefine the way the world works. To help us expand our reach and further our mission, we’re proud to announce the addition of a new Dizzion data center POD located in Amsterdam.
When Dizzion considers expanding into new markets we go through a very simple evaluation, asking ourselves three questions:
When we evaluated expanding into the European Union the answer to all three questions was “yes.” Our vision has always been to expand into new geographies and the EU was the next logical choice based on customer demand and the opportunity to expand our reach to positively impact a new market. We specifically chose Amsterdam as our first data center location in Europe because of the regional technology infrastructure and data laws that allow us to serve neighboring countries with relative ease.
For our existing and future customers, Dizzion can now meet end user computing needs in Europe and deliver a high performing end user experience equivalent to what we already deliver within the US, Central America and ASIA PAC, where we have existing PODs. Being in this new geography allows our customers to easily extend and consume Dizzion services in most European countries where data residency laws allow.
Like our other data centers, the Amsterdam POD features Dizzion’s modular cloud infrastructure design, which allows us to infinitely expand to meet customer need. This addition has the potential to help organizations easily expand into European countries, taking advantage of the workforce opportunities across Europe while being able to easily administer and control a secure, consistent desktop experience.
As customer demand grows in this region, we anticipate continued growth and expansion of the Dizzion presence into additional European countries. With our first POD deployed in the region, we can now expand with greater velocity and precision, further enhancing our service offerings.
The addition of our Amsterdam POD is just the most recent action Dizzion has taken to enhance our services and solutions to better meet our customers’ needs. The past few months have seen equally exciting announcements like the addition of both a PCI compliant and HIPAA HITECH compliant virtual desktop solution. These independently audited and verified solutions were born of Dizzion’s commitment to market-leading desktop security and recognizing a growing need within the market to protect sensitive data at the endpoint/end user level while helping organizations more easily meet increasingly demanding compliance requirements. The addition of the EU POD was undertaken in the same spirit: solve a market problem for our customers – in this case, the ability to provide high-performing virtual desktops within the EU.
We’re excited about the new opportunities this expansion into the EU, and our other recent announcements, open up for both Dizzion and our customers and we look forward to many more customer-focused moves in the future.
