Dizzion is proud to announce that it has been included in the Inc. 5000 list for the first time. Placing at No. 556 in the 2017 rankings, Dizzion reported over 800% revenue growth over three years (2013-2016). This is the first time Dizzion has applied for inclusion on Inc.’s annual list.
The Inc. 5000 list has been running for 36 years and ranks the fastest growing privately held companies throughout the United States. Inc. noted the particularly impressive growth displayed by this year’s honorees.
“Companies that made the list, on average, have grown six fold since 2013. During a stretch when the economy grew just 6.7 percent, that’s a result most businesses could only dream of,” a congratulatory letter sent to honorees and signed by Eric Schurenberg, President and Editor in Chief of Inc. Media, said.
Here are a few impressive numbers about Dizzion’s first appearance on the Inc. 5000 list:
“Making the Inc. 5000 list, especially at such a high ranking, is something everyone at Dizzion is very proud of. It’s a testament to all our hard work over the past six years,” said Steve Prather, Dizzion President and CEO. “I’m particularly excited that we’re the #1 ranked IT Services category company in Colorado and a top 20 fastest growing company in the state. Colorado is a great place to do business with amazing talent. We look forward to continued growth and doing more great things.”
Founded in 2011, Dizzion has shown impressive growth. During the time frame evaluated for the 2017 Inc. 5000 list, Dizzion experienced 10x employee growth in addition to the 800%+ revenue growth. Both factors are considered by Inc. when determining company rankings. Dizzion has continued to grow further in 2017.
“Dizzion started out as a dream three guys from the cloud computing, hosting and data center industry had to change the way the world works and how people interact with their desktop,” said Robert Green, CTO. “It’s exciting to see how far the company has come and to be recognized as one of the top 600 fastest growing private companies in the U.S. I’m very proud of everyone at Dizzion, they’re the ones who drive growth and continue to propel us to greatness every day.”
The top 10 companies all showed growth of more than 13,000%. Dizzion’s category, IT Services, posted an overall growth rate of 112%, but ranked as only the 21st fastest growing industry overall.
Colorado is the 6th fastest growing state and is home to 113 companies that made the Inc. 5000 2017 list. (The top ranked Colorado company is Symbia Logistics, a logistics and transportation category company located in Edwards, CO that was ranked #68 with growth of more than 5000%.) Denver is home to 76 of those Colorado-based organizations, making it the 18th fastest growing metro area.
