Last week, Dizzion announced that it made the Inc. 5000 list for the second year in a row. We were one of only 28 companies in Colorado to appear on the list for a second time this year. This is a great honor that proves Dizzion’s dedication to providing the best, most comprehensive full-service end user computing solutions on the market is paying off.
The Inc. 5000 list is a prestigious honor based on merit. It ranks privately held companies in the United States based on three-year revenue growth. Dizzion earned its place with more than 400% growth, making us the highest ranking IT Management provider in Colorado and 36th in the U.S.
Here are some of the things that helped us achieve that great growth rate.
A new round of funding is always an exciting time for a startup as it allows the organization to increase hiring and build out new features. Since 2015, Dizzion has secured two rounds of funding: A Series A round for $3.9 million in early 2015 and an A1 round in the second half of 2016 for $6.4 million. This funding helped Dizzion increase its manpower and launch some innovative new solutions into the market.
Dizzion also increased its ecosystem via strategic partnerships, many of which focused on expanding within the contact center and BPO industries. These partnerships included:
Many of the services, solutions and features Dizzion is most known for are only a few years old.
zLink, Dizzion’s secure endpoint solution, was first launched in 2015. zLink was created in response to client need as organizations were looking for a way to further reduce hardware costs after switching to Dizzion’s desktop as a service offering. At the time of zLink’s release, Dizzion CTO Robert Green said:
“Our customers love the benefits of security, productivity and mobility that they realize from using Dizzion’s virtual desktops. However, they’ve told us that managing their aging desktops and laptops is an ongoing source of frustration and cost. zLink eliminates that burden by providing a transformative ‘Plug and Play’ delivery of Dizzion Cloud Services. When combined with the power of our virtual desktop service, zLink lowers the cost of hardware, supports flexible location work and reduces the threat of data security on the endpoint device.”
In late 2016 Dizzion announced another game changer for the desktop as a service industry: compliant virtual desktops. Dizzion’s PCI DSS compliant desktop solution was announced in September, making Dizzion the first DaaS provider to offer PCI compliant virtual desktops to help companies achieve and maintain compliance and better protect payment card information. HIPAA HITECH compliance followed in December, benefiting Dizzion’s healthcare, insurance, payment processing and other clients that regularly handle personal health information. Both solutions have been widely adopted by Dizzion clients, helping drive growth.
Dizzion took another exiting step in 2017 by expanding its data center locations. This allows Dizzion to service more customers and provide more robust disaster recovery solutions. Two new data center locations were announced last year, one in Pennsylvania and one in Amsterdam for expansion into the EU.
Dizzion has appeared on quite a few impressive lists over the past three years and captured a few key awards. A few notable ones during the three-year Inc. 5000 evaluation window include:
CRN, a brand of The Channel Company, has also taken note of Dizzion over the past few years. Dizzion appeared on CRN’s “Next-Gen 250 List” in both 2016 and 2017. The annual list recognizes “trailblazing” solution providers that are transforming business with innovative technologies. In 2017, Dizzion was also recognized by CRN as an Emerging Vendor in the Cloud category.
Most notably over the past three years though was Dizzion’s impressive first appearance on the Inc. 5000 list in 2017.
The pace of innovation and growth haven’t slowed down at Dizzion. We continue to add new, exciting features, secure additional strategic partnership and continuously explore ways to disrupt the end user computing industry and meet client needs.
We’re very proud to have made the Inc. 5000 list for a second time and look forward to continuing the trend into 2019.
