Dizzion prides itself on not only providing virtual desktops, but offering a fully managed suite of services that ultimately helps customers and end users achieve larger goals. “Redefining the way the world works” isn’t a one-solution task, so we’re not a one solution company.
Rather than simply a managed VDI or strictly desktop as a service company, Dizzion works hard to tackler greater end user computing challenges. This EUC approach allows us to be a more valuable and forward-looking partner for our clients.
Robert Green, CTO and Co-Founder of Dizzion, shares his thoughts on why Dizzion set out to be an EUC provider and how the company approaches that mission.
As an EUC provider, Dizzion is striving to provide solutions that help our customers offer cutting edge technology, universal access and device freedom to end users. We empower the enterprise to extend past their four walls and access talent regardless of where they may reside.
Dizzion does not just give our customers a “blue screen” desktop and say good luck. We provide our customers with a suite of end user services and tools that completely encompasses the end users’ needs while offering a balance between flexibility, performance and security.
Our vision is to redefine how the world works, and to that vision we believe that a cloud delivered desktop is just the tip of the iceberg. We must also provide our customers with application streaming, antivirus, mobile device management, patching, backups, software updates, security, compliance, distributed file sharing and deep integration into our customers enterprise Active Directory and network. Being an EUC provider also means that we provide unparalleled visibility and analytics on not only the cloud environment but also end users.
When Dizzion started we had a goal to make complex and costly technology affordable and attainable to enterprises and SMBs alike. We have seen technology offer promises of a better tomorrow but most projects never materialize and even less ever see a true ROI. Most ISVs, VARs and Cloud Providers expect customers to be experts in all facets of technology or have a PhD in their particular technology suite. Unfortunately in reality, expecting customers to have that level of expertise is not realistic. We analyzed the reason why and we came up with a simple but profound idea: Customers need a way to take complex software and make it simple to consume and easily scalable so that the ROI promised is attained.
So with that concept in mind we decided to take a holistic approach, there is very little solved by giving customers a blue screen. However, providing a single cloud platform that provides everything you need to support the full life cycle of the end user adds more value and accomplishes the goal. Deliver the ROI, while making complex technology accessible and affordable.
Dizzion will be working diligently to make EUC farther reaching and consumed more broadly. The suite of Dizzion services and tools will continue to expand, simplifying complex technology into something easily consumable. The Dizzion EUC platform will expand to provide deeper analytics and correlation with automation and orchestration of systems that will allow new technology to be easily consumable by all end users and organizations, regardless of industry or company size
Not all customers are created equal, so EUC will mean different things to different organizations based on size, technical acumen and company mission. Think of EUC as a 5 star all-inclusive resort where everything you need is provided for one simple price. The Dizzion EUC platform strives to make end user lifecycle management simple and easy so that organizations can focus on their business versus managing technology.
Empowerment to do more with less. The Dizzion EUC levels the proverbial technology playing field allowing SMBs to have access to the same tech as enterprises. Having a level playing field give these businesses a fighting chance of not only surviving but thriving in the competitive business market where price and service are paramount.
