We are celebrating by offering one year FREE when you switch!
A sea of change
For those of you familiar with the end-user computing industry, to say the past couple of years have been a bit turbulent would be a vast understatement.
Broadcom certainly didn't help the situation as they made even more waves with the completion of their long-anticipated acquisition of VMware. On the heels of the acquisition, Broadcom, unsurprisingly, announced the pending divestiture of both VMware's EUC (Horizon, Workspace ONE) and Security (Carbon Black) business units. The writing is on the wall that both will likely be sold to the highest bidder at some point in the future. What this means for existing VMware customers, especially those using their EUC and Security solutions, is a lot of uncertainty, inevitable disruption, and almost certainly increased costs.
For us at Dizzion, this entire situation hits incredibly close to home. Not only did we build our original Managed DaaS offering on VMware's EUC platform, the recent acquisition of the Frame team and technology, after their divestiture from Nutanix (who just happens to be VMware's top competitor), is eerily similar - to say the least.
When you also couple what's happening at VMware with Citrix going private last year and refocusing their efforts on their top enterprise customers, the entire EUC industry is in a state of unprecedented change. What's interesting is that this is all happening at a time when Desktop as a Service (DaaS) solutions are finally seeing more mainstream adoption across industry verticals and market segments (primarily driven by demand from workforces around the globe for remote and flexible work models coming out of the pandemic). Gartner releasing their first Magic Quadrant™ for Desktop as a Service this past August is also a testament to both the maturity and growing demand for the technology.
And while customers are certainly being impacted, let's all keep in mind that it's the individuals and their families that are impacted by layoffs, as a result of all these changes, that are ultimately bearing the brunt of the pain. We certainly wish them nothing but the best as they move forward.
A lighthouse for the weary
The silver lining, of course, is that with change, comes opportunity. For Dizzion, it's already been six months since the acquisition and merger with Frame. We have been working incredibly hard to not only unify two teams, companies, systems, and operations into one Dizzion, but to also redefine the mission for our new company, which is to:
Make Desktop as a Service truly simple.
This mission of simplicity will be reflected in everything we do moving forward, including our new branding, offerings, technology, and how you ultimately choose to do business and partner with us.
We'll also be the first to admit that certain things are still baking in the oven, so to speak - but they'll all be ready soon.
Different by design
Simple is not easy. In fact, it's really hard. Frame was designed and built from the ground-up with simplicity for both end-users and admins alike:
Premium user experience
Powered by our own, next-generation, Frame Remoting Protocol (FRP), end-users are able to access a premium experience including native in-session VoIP and videoconferencing, 4K display, 60 fps, and multiple monitors – all from the comfort and ease of their favorite browser. Easily enable and support BYO device initiatives without worrying about installing clients or plug-ins.
No cloud lock-in
Deploy to your public cloud of choice including AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and Microsoft Azure or on-premises on Nutanix Cloud Infrastructure. Frame is true multi-cloud DaaS with no lock-in.
Dizzion delivers a full technology stack from our backend cloud orchestration and robust REST APIs to our front-end remoting protocol and session experience. This is what allows us to innovate at a pace that is unmatched in the industry.
Enterprise capabilities without the enterprise complexity. The Frame admin console is a true single pane-of-glass with one-click configurations, auto-deployed secure external access appliances, and integrated documentation.

At Dizzion, we put our customers first (it's one of our core company values). We understand each customer has unique needs and those needs often evolve over time.
